Do you take my insurance?
Our office recognizes that dental insurance is not insurance in the true sense, but rather a benefit from your employer. With that in mind, we are happy to assist you with all your dental insurance needs. Currently, we file all insurance claims as a courtesy to you. Please note that Dr. Tim is an in-network provider for Cigna, Aetna, MetLife, Assurant, and Guardian.
We are also happy to be your advocate with your insurance company but please remember the contract is between you and them. We can estimate what your policy will cover and predetermine benefits for you should you desire.
We will do our best to obtain the maximum benefits available for you. Please be aware that most insurance policies do not pay 100% of the charges incurred, and many have an annual deductible. The benefits that you receive depend upon the type of contract with the insurance company that your employer has chosen.
How much is a crown?
We understand that you want to know our fees prior to having any dentistry completed. Crowns are not a commodity, but rather a health care procedure. Fees may vary between practitioners based on experience, materials and overall quality. It is best to sit down with our doctors so that together, you can determine your best course of treatment as well as costs involved. We will not proceed with treatment until you have all of the information necessary to make an informed decision.
Are payment plans available for my dental treatment?
Perry Russell, our Business Assistant, will be happy to discuss payment options with you.
Do you treat TMJ?
Dr. Craig and Dr. Tim are a part of an elite group of 250 dentists worldwide whom have completed a rigorous post-doctoral curriculum and earned accreditation as a practitioner of Rejuvenation dentistry. Rejuvenation dentistry is a comprehensive approach to treating bite and jaw problems and facial pain.
Dr. Herre has become so passionate about helping patients find comfort and proper function that he helped found the Texas Center for Occlusal Studies. This world-class educational organization sets the standard for postgraduate dental education worldwide by teaching dentists how to diagnose and treat TMJ/myofacial pain through state-of-the-art, minimally invasive techniques – techniques that can impact their patients’ health in profoundly meaningful ways.
After an initial comprehensive evaluation and diagnosis, our doctors develop an individualized treatment plan for each patient. The first step in treatment usually involves seating the jaw properly in its socket so that facial and cervical muscles can relax. After the jaw is stabilized, restorative dental treatment begins. The length of Rejuvenation dentistry treatment time varies from patient to patient but can range from 6-12 months.
Can I come in for a teeth cleaning? What is the new patient process?
We love welcoming new patients into our dental family. During your first visit at our office, you will be greeted by our New Patient Coordinator and given a tour of our facility. You will also meet with your doctor to review the new patient forms that should be filled out at the beginning of your appointment. After the initial interview, the doctor and his team will complete a comprehensive oral health examination and all necessary records will be taken. Then, if it is appropriate in your case, you will finish your appointment with a thorough teeth cleaning by your hygienist.
